Specifies requirements for semiconductor stabilized power supplies designed to supply a.c. power from either an a.c. or d.c. power source. It does not cover power supplies for electrical measurement equipment. It includes the electrical performance requirements and nominates the physical dimensions to be listed when specifying a unit.
